FREEZE DAMAGE TO PLANTS AT MOSAIC
Posted on Dec 12th, 2013
Homeowners whose yards are maintained by the HOA:
Due to the recent record-breaking cold weather during which the Bay Area received several day/nights of freezing temperatures, we have noticed some frost damage to plant material. You may notice instances of wilting and/or discolored plant material (see a few examples below).

The Association will not be pruning this damaged plant material back as it is protecting and insulating the new growth below it. When the weather warms up, we will prune away the damaged material and evaluate the affected plants. At this time it’s just too early to tell for sure which will recover and which will not.
The Association will replace any plants that will not recover completely in the spring.
