The alleyways behind your home are scheduled to be seal coated on Thursday, August 24. This notice will provide you with information regarding the schedule, parking and other important things to keep in mind during the course of the work. The company performing the work, American Asphalt, will also post barricades and road closure signs prior to performing the work.

 

All vehicles will need to be off of the alleyways and out of your garages by 7:30am on the morning of August 24. Vehicles will be allowed back in the alleyways once the paving company has removed the barricades, most likely early on Friday morning. 

 

Do not remove the barricades yourself and do not drive on the alleyway prior to the barricades being removed.  Driving on the project too soon will leave indentations in the work and will require that the area be re-sealed at your expense.

 

IMPORTANT: Please note that you will not be able to use any cars that are left in your garage as the alleyways will be completely closed to all traffic. If you will need to use your car, please plan to move it onto the street in front of your home on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning before the start of the work.
